Something for the weekend - Sunday lunches in Highgate

Highgate is known for its wide array of eating and drinking options, so this week we thought we'd ask you for your Sunday lunch recommendations. Many thanks to those who responded on Twitter - we love hearing what you have to say, so do keep those suggestions coming!
@GreenShoedGirls was first off the mark, recommending the Bull and Last on Highgate Road for its delicious food, good prices and stock of independent distiller Sipsmith's gin. The kitchen serves rustic British food ranging from the simple and hearty (Welsh lamb broth, potted shrimps and beer battered cod) to the more adventurous (chargrilled duck hearts). Particularly recommended is the deep fried pig's cheeks: "SO delicious!" says our source.
The Red Lion and Sun on North Hill Road is @leahnewton's choice for a Sunday lunch. "Never let us down yet," she says. "Satisfaction guaranteed and great friendly service." The gastropub menu includes oysters, quail and steak as well as traditional battered fish and chips available until 10pm and hog roasts in the summer. Prices are around £10-14 for a main, and the kitchen is open from 12noon - 10pm Monday to Saturday, 12-9pm Sunday.
For a lazy Sunday brunch with friends or family, Monkeynuts on Park Road in recommended by @CrouchEndProj for its steaks, shakes and delicious cocktails. I've also enjoyed its laid-back ambience and hearty portions - great if you're feeling a bit worse for wear after a big Saturday night out. Monkeynuts is open from 10am to 11pm daily.
It's a bit of a Highgate cliche, but I'm a big fan of The Flask on Highgate West Hill. The beer garden is an exceptionally pleasant place to sit in the summer months (assuming summer ever gets here), and the seasonal menu changes regularly with summer specials now on offer. Expect to pay £10-15 for a main course from the a la carte menu and around £15 for the Sunday roast.
Finally, Cote at the bottom of the village gets plaudits from @AJogee. Part of a smallish chain with 13 locations in London, Cote specialises in bistro-style French cooking - try the rillettes, a coarse duck and pork paté with heaps of rustic flavour served in a jar. Sunday specials at the Highgate branch include roast chicken or steak frites for £9.95. Open from 9am to 10.30pm, with the brakfast menu available until 1pm for light eaters and late risers.
