Cllr Richard Watson, Cabinet Member for Communities, says: "Our award ceremony is a chance for us all to thank the dedicated volunteers, many of them parents with full time jobs, who give their spare time to coaching, organising, training and supporting our young athletes towards sporting excellence.
"It's also an opportunity to highlight the work of the sports organisations and clubs that do so much to ensure the increasing success of the borough's sports performers.
"We have some real talent in this borough and hopefully some of those nominated for these awards might see themselves at the next Olympics flying the flag for Haringey!"
Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 26 October and all nominators are automatically entered in a free prize draw for the chance to win £100 worth of sport equipment vouchers.
Generous sponsorship and support for the event is received from Tottenham Hotspur FC, Pro Active North London, Haringey Sports Development Trust and Everyone's a Winner magazine.
