Singer, bon viveur and Highgate person George Michael has been forced to cancel the second London date of his Symphonica tour after being diagnosed with a viral infection.

George Michael on the Symphonica tour earlier this month. Ill health has forced the cancellation of tonight's planned Royal Albert Hall gig.

After a well-received first night at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday, the singer became unwell today and cancelled tonight's show on medical advice. The date will be rescheduled and tonight's tickets will remain valid. A disappointed George hopes to recover in time for Friday's concert.
