Pull on your walking boots on Sunday 4th November for Walk for Warmth, WJR's sponsored walk to raise funds for Operation Winter Survival.
Choose to complete a 6k or 2k wintry walk around the beautiful Highgate Woods and join us for light refreshments in the cafe afterwards. It's a perfect event for the whole family. You will be raising vital funds to help vulnerable people survive the harsh winter months in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, where temperatures regularly plummet to below -20 degrees.
By supporting Operation Winter Survival you can help WJR provide warm food to those who are alone at home through the winter, supply coal and fuel for heating homes, and carry out essential repairs to cold and dilapidated houses. You can help make a real difference to the lives of so many.
Join us in Walking for Warmth to help more people survive the cruel winter. Once registered, you will receive a welcome pack with further details, a route map, sponsorship forms and fundraising tips.
