It was sad and shocking to view the Panorama programme and see vulnerable people being treated in such a cruel way. Clearly Care Homes, Care Home Agencies and Hospitals still need much tighter controls to avoid these appalling incidents taking place. I am however pleased to comment that, during my many years working in the care profession, the majority of the people that I have met and worked with are decent and caring people. My current team of caregivers for example constantly show kindness and genuine respect to our clients. Hopefully the Panorama programme will result in some good however I hope people will not judge the overall care sector by this and similar programmes.
