One of the most popular spots in Highate, especially in the summer when people flock to the Heath. There's plenty of seating though so you normally find yourself somewhere even if it involves a little wait. In the evening the place quietens down and become a nice, low-key restaurant as opposed to the buzzing cafe it is a lunchtime. The food is really good - breakfasts are big and good quality, and all the food is fresh and well cooked. Certainly worth checking out if you find yourself with a rumbling tum in Highgate.

The perfect place to start the day
Kalendar Cafe in Swains Lane, Highgate is the perfect place to start the day with a delicious breakfast and refreshing smoothie. All their food is made with really fresh, good quality ingredients and they serve excellent coffee as well.
