Sunday bike rides for Highgate residents
By poppy_smith | Sunday, February 03, 2013, 16:03
Sunday morning bike rides are back by popular demand as part of Haringey Council's ongoing partnership with British Cycling and Skyride Local.
Every Sunday morning in February British Cycling is organising challenging and rides exclusively for adults.
The rides are ideal for anyone looking to take their cycling to the next level or train for a charity bike ride.
All rides will start at 9am from Grove Hill Car Park, Alexander Palace Way, N22 7AY - please note this is not the main exhibition car park.
Covering 28 miles of a fantastic circular route in north London, showing that you can escape the city on quiet roads, the ride will go out of the city past Alexandra Palace and on to Barnet, Hertfordshire and Enfield.
There are a few fun hills to negotiate but it's tarmac all the way on this ride, making it ideal for road bikes.
- Book now - places must be booked in advance.
For more information or to book on to the ride please visit the Haringey page of the Go Skyride website (external link) and click the 'Find an Event' button.
Participants must be aged over 16.
