Police appeal for information about Archway attack

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an attack in Archway last month.

Police investigating a serious assault in Archway are looking for this man.
A 24-year old woman was attacked in her doorway on September 17 this year as she returned home around 4.30am. Her attacker hit her several times on the back of the head with a brick, running off when the victim's screams alerted her family.
The man is described as being a light-skinned black man with a high forehead, wearing a black zip-up top and a black t-shirt with the letter C printed on the front in white. The attack took place in Miranda Road, near St John's Way, in the early hours of Saturday 17 September. The victim was later treated at the Whittington Hospital.
Investigating officer, Det Con Dermot Corcoran has called on the public to help identify th attacker, saying, "This was a truly terrifying and unprovoked assault on a young woman. I appeal to members of the public to take a close look at the CCTV image to see if they can help police identify this man."
