Improvements planned for leisure centres in Highgate area

Haringey leisure centres are gearing up for big improvements in the New Year after the contract with Fusion Lifestyle started this month.

Staff have already been kitted out with new uniforms and a £15m investment and improvement programme will begin next summer.

Fusion, an independent charity working in partnership with the council, will be running Park Road and Tottenham Green Leisure Centres and Broadwater Farm Community Centre on a 20-year contract. They will also look after White Hart Lane Leisure Centre for the next three years.

Leisure Centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day, and will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, as in previous years.
