In Bloom is back… bigger and better than ever before, but with an added twist! In celebration of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the competition is themed around this once in a lifetime event. Celebrations in various forms will be taking place all over the country and this is your chance to leave a special Jubilee mark in Highgate

Jubilee in Bloom is a free competition run by the council and sponsored by the Sunshine Garden Centre (website - external link), encouraging and rewarding residents, businesses, schools and community groups who take pride in their environment by brightening up and improving the borough using floral and shrub displays. There are incentives to get you entering and prizes to encourage you to win.

As well as the popular front and container garden awards, this year we've introduced new awards that really do bring the Jubilee to Haringey. There's money up for grabs to turn an idea that you may have to brighten up your park or neighbourhood into reality. And for those of you who aren't green fingered but still want to be part of this exciting time, there's the Jubilee Floral Photograph award created for you to capture the exciting celebrations over the Diamond Jubilee bank holiday weekend (2-5 June). View the awards page to find out which one suits you best and get entering...
