Haringey's "Green Agenda" is the hot topic at the Muswell Hill, Alexandra, Fortis Green and Highgate Area Forum and Committee next week.

Speakers will discuss the Green Deal, local initiatives such as the Low Carbon Zone and the council's 40:20 carbon cutting scheme (external link).

Also up for discussion will be Single Front Line services, including bin collections, and an update on the proposal for a new bus stop at the top of Muswell Hill.

Cllr Gail Engert, Chair of the Muswell Hill, Alexandra, Fortis Green and Highgate Area Forum/Committee says this is open invitation for local people to have their say: "Do come along and get involved in this green-themed Area Forum to share your ideas and questions on green issues in the local area, and also hear the latest on moving the Muswell Hill bus stop."

The meeting takes place next Thursday 13 September at 6.30pm at the British Legion Meeting Room, The Royal British Legion, Muswell Hill Road, N10 3NG.
