Shops and cafes across Crouch End will be transformed into live music venues on Friday as The End festival comes to N8 - redubbed "Crouch Angeles" for one day only. The multi-venue event, modelled after the Camden crawl and with an emphasis on new music, kicks off at 3pm and continues throughout the evening.
The End is nigh - it's coming to "Crouch Angeles" on Friday.
An eclectic range of venues, including the Clocktower Laundry on the Broadway, Little Paris Boutique on Park Road, Flashback Records on Crouch Hill and The King's Head pub will play host to the freshest sounds in indie, rock and alt-folk. Headliners include Brooklyn duo She Keeps Bees and Crouch End's own The Keepsakes.
The End is organised by promoter and local person Howard Monk, founder of The Local agency which is celebrating its sixth birthday this weekend with the new local event. If this year's festival is successful, Monk hopes there will be more to come in the future.
Early bird tickets costing £12 will get you into all venues and are available here; tickets for individual venues will also be available on the door. Gigs at Haringey Library and Little Paris will be completely free of charge, and children are welcome at all venues except the King's Head and Moors Bar.
Get into the mood by listening to some of the acts taking part here! We hope to pop along on Friday, hope to see some of you there.
