Cold weather to continue

Last night saw quite a generous snowfall on Highgate, and the gritters have been out in force again this evening in anticipation of another freezing night. Some sleet or snow may fall overnight, and freezing conditions will lead to widespread ice and fog in the morning. Take extra care in the morning, and plan extra time for your journey if leaving the house.
