A blitz to stop people attaching satellite dishes to the front of properties in conservation areas has seen dishes taken down.
Residents living in conservation areas are asked to conceal the dishes or position them at the back of buildings and are warned that planning applications to site them at the front will be denied.
Residents in Tower Gardens who have installed satellite dishes at the front without permission are being warned to remove them or face prosecution.
The one pictured was removed voluntarily after the owners were asked to bring it down by Haringey Council Planning Enforcement Officers.
Cllr Nilgun Canver, Cabinet Member for the Environment, said: "We need to look after our environment and protect areas of historic interest. These dishes can ruin the look and feel of an area, especially a conservation area which preserves the historic character of a place. If satellite dishes are erected."
